So I've become aware of some claims that it's a good idea to add two-stroke oil
to diesel fuel for older diesels that were not designed for ULSD fuel. The
claim is that it increases lubricity and since it's designed to be mixed with
fuel and burned it will not create unwanted deposits. 100:1 ratio or so.

Any opinions on whether this would be a good idea for OM617 and similar era
engines?
