Sure. As long as it's cold and cheap!

Having recently completed a flawless R/R of a pair of spheres/ balls/

share a beer with you guys when you're done.

I did this job two years ago on my uncle's 84 300TD. Photos without a

I've never had good luck with the LCA bushings, in this case the arm was
pretty corroded where the bushing seats, so I decided to replace the arms
completely. I'm not sure if this is the norm or an exception. There is a
tool to R&R the bushings which is pretty reasonable that I'd like to buy
next time around.

I like Rich's idea to use a ball peen hammer...

With all this talk on front end rebuilds in the air this is a good time to
ask. I'm planning a front end rebuild on my 82 240D next weekend with the
assistance of a friend and possibly Andrew if he can get away from
squashing
around:) I've never done this. I bought all the parts from Rusty. I
splurged
and bought the proper Klann spring compressor. I'm dreading the removal and
pressing in of the steering knuckle and pressing in and flaring of the LCA
bushings and aluminum sleeve. Do any of you have some words of wisdom
regarding this job?
