Reminds me of the days when we would sit on the fender, hood open on one side (on late 30's Chrysler products, the hood opened on each side toward the middle) and peer into the engine compartment looking for the cause of a hard-to-identify noise or symptom, as the driver drove slowly down the street. We didn't know any better. I realize this is of no help, but it is fun to reminisce.
