I had considered it when I had an SDL and an SLC at the same time. I did
rebuild the SLC engine instead of trashing the SDL. I think it will fit
under the hood. You'll need to align or make new engine mount arms, and I
doubt that the end of the tranny for the 603 will end at the same place, so
a drive shaft could be an issue as well. It would be a great car though!!!

I suspect that the 603 is lighter than the 117, though they might be
similar in weight - I wouldn't worry about the front suspension.
