temp. At 220F you are still thicker than petro Diesel is at 100F. To
approach 100F petroD viscosity, veg oil temps must be at or above 250F.
Until I see a Benz that has been running a clearly documented 300kmi on
WVO, I will not believe that WVO does not lead to early engine
destruction due to polymerization. BioD, PetroD, or nothing....

You have to only run the wvo on long trips, short trips won't do it.

have to "live" the Italian tune up, meaning run it hard, keep it hot and
clean out the carbon every chance you get. Most folks are so caught up in
fuel savings that they tend to try to get the best mpg on veggie oil.
Why? It is basically free. If you putt around and don't keep it hot it
will fail. If you change over to wvo before the oil and engine are hot
enough it will fail. If you don't spend way too much time cleaning your
oil it will fail. If you use the wrong oil it will fail. If you don't
set
up the car right it will fail.
You see, there are a lot of variables. Most wvo users tend to be
cheapskates and skimp on at least one of the above and they fail.
It is a Mercedes, there is a proper procedure for everything. Follow
the
proper procedure and your Mercedes will run fine.
