My wife wanted the 17" LCD from home for her office to replace her 17" CRT so I bought a new monitor for home. We watch most of our TV online and I figured it made some sense. For ~$180 I got (from Amazon of course) a Viewsonic 24" LED. From the reviews I read it seemed like a good deal and I've had a Viewsonic monitor before that I liked. This thing is HUGE for a computer monitor, 1920x1080 (full HD) gives me plenty of desktop real estate. I've been steadily turning the brightness down so it doesn't burn my eyes out. Down to 35% now, might go to 30% yet. The screen is clear and sharp and the whole unit is very thin (maybe 1 1/2") and weighs nothing. Supposed to use very little energy too.
