I used to fly them a lot in the islands (Caribbean). American's commuter line down there flew a lot of them.
Since my first commercial jet flight wasn't until I was 22, but I already had several hundred hours in a single engine prop aircraft (mostly a Beechcraft Bonanza V35 that belonged to my Dad), flying in one of these was a real yawn.
