How hard is to pull the evaporator?

My second-hand Subaru had numerous A/C problems and I think the previous
owner let it run low (means low oil charge as well) enough that it caused a
noisy compressor.

I had the high pressure hose off the A/C leak through the membrane (common
problem) and the expansion valve fail (wouldn't open/close). Once I got
those taken care of, I had a problem with the lines freezing up. Turns out
Subaru had a TSB that relocated an evaporator temperature sensor a few
inches. I had to pull the evap to fix it, but it wasn't too hard. I had
to remove the glove box, blower, and a couple of other things, but then the
evap could be pulled out from the side.

They charged the previous owner an arm and a leg to replace the evaporator
(leaking) but never relocated the temperature sensor per the TSB....
