NJ is also a state where the speed limit on the turnpike will suddenly drop to 35 MPH (from 65 MPH) in a work zone that doesn't need a speed limit that low. The cops can sit their and pull someone over if they feel like it and write you a ticket.. meanwhile traffic whizzes by at 75 MPH "they can't get us all"
