I've been amazed at the ease of removing the copper nuts from bolts that I was sure would break. Not finger loose by any means, but no where near as hard as I expected due to the condition of the threads they were going over. The first one came loose after mutiple penetrant applications- over a few days. The second was really stubborn- it was starting to come but ultimately snapped which is fine as the bolt just passes through the flanges- not threaded thru anything. Overall was a moderate PITA. How do mechanics do this so quickly? Impact guns? _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com -- OK Don 2001 ML320 1992 300D 2.5T 1990 300D 2.5T 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
