I think they all make fine drives, but I have only purchased hard drives in retail packages so I know they were shipped properly. Sometimes those NewEgg drives that come from OEM boxes of 20 are thrown in a box with a single sheet of bubble wrap and handed over to UPS to throw around some more before they arrive at your doorstep.
