Does the alternator rotate freely and smoothly (without wobble) by hand? Do the other pulleys (idler, water pump, pwr. steering pump, A/C comp.) rotate properly without binding. When you sight down the edge of belt across all the pulleys, are all the pulleys in same plane - properly aligned with each other?
