Guys,
This is getting annoying/frustrating; after disassembling every electrical
plug/connection and ground I could find under the hood of my '85 300TD and
cleaning and lubricating with conductive grease, my tach now seems to be
working OK but my AC compressor won't come on. As per a suggestion from a post
on the PeachParts forum, inserting a jumper wire between the female Klima pins
#5 & #10 with the engine running will turn the AC compressor on which
supposedly suggests the problem resides in the Klima relay. When this all
started when both the tach and AC would shut off after ~10-15 min. of driving,
there were suggestions that the problem was the Klima relay but, now that the
tach is working, I'm wondering if indeed the problem with the AC compressor not
turning on lies elsewhere?
Note: DCV between
Klima pin #5 & #10

Aby further suggestions, holler.
