Heated seats and the lumbar supports are options in the 123, albeit very rare ones.
My 84 300CD had both, but I suspect they were installed after the fact, as the PO's father was the manager of the MB parts distribution center in New Jersey. The car had all kinds of little tweaks due to his access to (cheap) parts. The seats and console were all factory, so it wasn't an after the fact hack job. I am pretty sure the seats and interior upholstery were completely replaced by him. If the console is black plastic, that's an indication that it may be a Euro. All of the Euro cars had black plastic for the console unless the wood was ordered special. Dan On Oct 20, 2012, at 10:52 AM, Jaime Kopchinski wrote: > They were optional, but very rare.
