Unlike some I have very good luck with the factory stuff. I did buy some 
HIGH-TEMPERATURE VITON RUBBER TUBING, FIRM, 1/8" ID, 1/4" OD, 1/16" WALL, 
BLACK, from McMaster-Carr which also worked very well. In fact I just used the 
last of it on my '84 190D. Its about the same price as Rusty is quoting for his 
stuff. If you require the factory cloth covered look go with Rusty's stuff for 
sure.

Rusty (Well, Tom, actually) didn't charge me $35 for the last meter I bought, 
but that was a few years ago. Some people have bought generic Viton hose in an 
inch size that's close to the proper metric size. The right stuff is metric and 
fabric covered.
