I found hitches for my w123 on the market were cheasy and only mounted to the floor of the trunk. I made my own with two flat plates of steel sandwiched between the bumper mounts and the body with a piece of heavy duty 1.5" channel iron running across to each of them for a support for a 2 inch receiver that will be fastened to a plate bolted through the floor when I get a chance to finish it.
