Not to sound like a broken record but when they do the alignment the first thing that should be done is to check for proper ride height. Alignment cannot be done correctly if the ride height is not right. How many 30 year old cars still sit at the proper height?
There is no way to adjust the rear. If it is eating tires on the inside on the rear there is either loose parts or sagged springs.
