I looked at the belt and saw that just as it had before, the belt had shredded just a small portion, maybe 1/8" on the inboard edge. The rest of the belt is intact and undamaged.
Belt alignment? Specifically any angle on an idler pulley, or perhaps an alternator with incorrect spacers?
