I just can't get past the terminology. Our family has a camp. The only roof there is on the outhouse. We also have a summer cabin, elsewhere. It has a roof, and is a permanent structure. A cottage, IMO, might be the size of a cabin but intended for year-round dwelling. In fact, in its life our cabin has morphed from shack to cabin, solidly, and might have tipped into cottage territory during the last round of renovations. (It's uninsulated, though.)
What do you call a camp without a cabin on it, where you actually _camp_, like in tents? That's my distinction, a _camp_ is a place of non-permanent dwelling, without fixed houselike structures. Certainly no central heating or indoor plumbing, though sleeping shacks could still qualify. They can move, or have fixed addresses, doesn't matter. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
