Yeah, I told him that the wires to the separator were probably an idiot light for "FULL OF WATER". He opened it up and in no way was it a pump. The stealership said that it won't run wihtout the water separator. Hahaha! (unless it's MORE than a water separator, but it does NOT seem to be)...then they relented and said "I wouldn't do it"...maybe it is the only pre-filter as he said he couldn't find a pre-filter. I'm really tempted to drive down there and get this thing going. Chris

Many diesels have a water-in-fuel sensor and light. Such as my Dodge pickup. My owner's manual clearly states that if it lights up DO NOT START! You drain the separator with its valve. -- Jim _______________________________________ For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://striplin.net/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_striplin.net Christopher McCann, Squier Park, Kansas City, Missouri -2005 Blue Point Siamese, "Rose" -1987 300TD, 151K, "Rotkäppchen" -1985 300SD, 210K, "Wulf" -1976 240D, ?K, "AKP-Wagen" (Alternativen Kraftstoffs Prüfenlastwagen) -1972 Jacobsen 21" Turbo Vent -1971 Case 222 Hydrive, 12HP Kohler, 38" deck, Snowcaster, "One Banger" --------------------------------- Yahoo!
