When the reporter starts quoting Mark Potok's 'research' for the SPLC to fill in
the missing details, that's when the article becomes entirely laughable. Always
a potential problem when somebody on the other side of an ocean tries to tell us
what's happening here.
SPLC was founded to personally enrich Morris Dees, much like Scientology was
founded to enrich Lafayette Hubbard.
As a 501(c) charitable foundation, they're about as credible as Humane Society
of the United States (which pretends that it runs the local animal shelters and
takes donations that the donors think are for helping homeless pets)
The lies that Potok spreads to keep the federal grants rolling in are what's
sinking SPLC to new lows.
