The MSDS states between 47 and 58% Aliphatic hydrocarbon. That does not say exactly what it is. It COULD vey well be fish oil and only the manufacturer knows. The MSDS also states wd-40 to be non-toxic according to guidlines. Seems if it were mostly petroleum distillates it would be listed as toxic and carcinogenic. Using deduction, what other Aliphatic hydrocarbon would work as well to displace water and be non-toxic?
