'Haven't left the house today.
Went for a 6-mile hike yesterday, after having hung all the outside Christmas decorations. Good thing, because it started to snow as we started to hike. Made for beautiful trip, and a treacherous roof. My son counted seven beaver dams on the creek, we only went as far as the cedar grove. The hiking trail is a couple of miles ESE crow-wise from here, but somewhat farther by road. Followed by soup-and-sandwich dinner and movie night with neighbors. No retail. <Shudder.> The cron-based sprinkler and light controller system has been taught when Thanksgiving is, and only begins the Xmas light sequence the day after. I/we are from the one holiday at a time school, so I programmed it to help discourage bad holiday behavior. Today? Maybe snow tires. I always wait until we actually need them.
