COMAND should be fine, just be nice too it and try to avoid things like spilling coffee into it. Unfortunately, that car has an Alpine system... I don't know what they're doing for out of warranty repairs. Support for Harman/Becker units is still outstanding.
That looks like a great car Bob. Good price, low miles, good engine choice. You only live once... go for it. You can drive your sensible asian car when you're dead.
