I got an HP LaserJet 4050 when I needed to print my dissertation. It
works very nicely, but it doesn't have nearly 200,000 pages through it,
though.

They do make color laser printers. At LANL, I inherited a fellow's
Color LaserJet 5500 when he retired. It made WONDERFUL color copies, and
11x17, too. I found it very valuable for a lot of the work I was doing. 
I am glad, though, that I did not have to pay for the four toner
cartridges! Replacing those was about $1000.
