Ten miles east of Gainesville, Florida is an Amtrak station.
Gainesville is a major university town with people from all over the
nation and the world. As one would expect there are bike and motor
scooter riders all over the place as well as public buses. Fifty years
ago it was a small southern town but now it's more of a northern or
internationally oriented city.
As a retiree in years to come, you might prefer to get away from the
crowds and hurly burly of fast moving cities. Then you might like
living in tiny towns near the Amtrak stations where everything but
convenience stores shut down at 9 pm. If you move, good luck wherever
you go.

I mean just simple things like going to the store for groceries so you
won't starve, or the swamp for swamp fish if you're living off the land.
You can find a place to live near the grocery stores in the summer but the
landlords kick everybody out when the Yankee tourists come down for the
winter.

Maaaaaaan! If you're gonna ride a bike around this part of the country,
you'd be down to skin and bones in sight of a month. No way to get
anything done without doing a lot of driving.

Ah! Then you're thinking of Beverly Hills West near LA. The only
place
you'd find anything like that around here is the Goodwill or Salvation
army
store. Prices are reasonable but the condition is not always the best.
There are quite a few wealthy people in Citrus County, but I think
they do
their shopping in Tampa or Orlando.

The girls in the clinic named him Hurky for Hercules since he was

Hurky the Turkey was finally moved to a shelter a number of

A reporter wrote up the story and it was published in the local

There may be pradas around Citrus county but no one has ever

BTW, what is a prada?

I don't know if it's Beverly Hills, FL, but east of Crystal
