You need something smaller/stronger than a 18" plastic snow shovel.
Either a square edged dirt digging shovel or a 10-12" coal/grain scoop.

Mitch.

The only snow shovel worth having.

I've had one for 40+ years. The second for 20+ years since we moved from Hawaii. The second was used by #1 son for many years to make money shovelling snow. About 3-4" has worn off the end of the blade. SWMBO likes it now. The older one is still near original.

I bought an aluminum Yo-ho snow shovel for SWMBO, but the aluminum part bent and it was a waste of money.

The steel ones as pictures have a spring steel blade. That makes a world of difference.

The only other thing that works well is a barn scoop shovel.
