Larry, We're getting unseasonably cold, down to freezing last night, but thankfully no snow or ice this time.
When the predicted low is 40 or less, I've been plugging in the block heater on my E300, not because it needs help to start, but because I'm trying to reduce cold-start engine wear and get heat as soon as possible. -Max -----Original Message----- From: Mercedes [mailto:mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com] On Behalf Of Larry T Sent: Monday, March 03, 2014 11:16 PM To: mercedes@okiebenz.com Subject: Re: [MBZ] Gravity Bleeding Brakes Thanks, Max! Your method is the one I remember thinking was the was way I wanted to try. Thanks for the explanation ;-) I'll give it a try... I hope you're not in this severe cold weather? we're supposed to get down to 5F overnight - and my wife had to stay at the VA hospital because the evening shift called in so she couldn't leave. She'll probably won't get home until tomorrow morning. ;-( I know i won't sleep well tonight....
