If a phone needs a case to protect it from reasonable daily use, then it
should come with it. Otherwise, the case should be reserved for the
paranoid or accident prone. My Galaxy S3 has ridden in my jeans pocket
since it was new (2 yrs ago?) with no damage to date (knocking on wood,
etc.). No, the baby doesn't get to hold the my phone, he has a mother for
that :-)
