My sons S3 was in a case, in hindsight not a very good case and if they
will fix the thing under warranty I will get him a better case.
You might want to consider getting a case for yours, as the warranty
would have expired after 2 years and a new digitizer for an S3 is not
cheap when compared to the iphone or my Huawei.

note the 19300 model is a bit cheaper and you do not want to try and put
a digitizer onto the frame yourself, this involves heat guns and glue.
