But, if you are from New England, then when you say "y'all" there will obviously be a very different accent. I cannot recall hearing John Kennedy ever say "y'all" but do try to envision that.

JFK (and FDR for that matter) never met an R. (the letter, nothing to do with the pahty affiliation)
