I sure thought I was clever buying the E320 Bluetec last summer when gas was still expensive and diesel was close to parity with premium. I like the car but with a 50 cent price differential and a disappointing 30.3 mpg it will be a while before I get to feel clever again. On my easy highway commute I averaged 20.6 in now-Dan's S420. Maybe I should put more air in the tires.
