You're missing the point. An uncoded lock cylinder will not match your key, hence they give you the key with it. Coding a lock cylinder to your key, indicates that you have a key and want to keep your key-ring light and uncluttered, as well as not having to fumble with multiple keys that all look alike. So you buy a coded cylinder and everything matches.
