Shell oil just got ok to base their AK drilling/exploration rig gear in Seattle. That means three years of investment to find off shore oil in Chukchi sea and off ANWAR. The easy to cycle flows are being pulled back to mitigate in the short term, but long view is that oil goes back once Obama and his idiots are gone. The easy pickings are over, and the recent short term situation is not going to do much good for anybodies economy. Keystone will not die, the Saudis will once more be making good cash on their reserves, and Putin will have to hold his nose for a while until Europe is suckling at his teat. Small driverless cars will take over the roads, and the cost of food will rise. Mercedes will continue to make cars, and people will keep filling tanks
