I had another oddball experience this evening upon returning to the car from a
show, I unlocked the passenger side front door on my '84 300D, went to the
trunk to try to unlock the trunk (Note: the key turned but did not unlock the
trunk because I hadn't unlocked the main part of the system from the driver's
side front door), and I then unlocked the driver's side front door to see if
this would "reset" the trunk part of the system . . . nothing; the trunk is
still locked and the key won't turn. What in the world did I do and how do I
possibly correct it? TIA.
