I went to the DMV yesterday to register the 300D.
Have you forgotten the necessity (in WA) of using the

of Buyer and Seller Regarding Value of Used Vehicle Sold </A>
(Dept. of Revenue) form?
Buyer and seller both sign it. That sets the value of the
car to reality, for tax purposes. They will also accept a
signed estimate of value from a recognized dealer, on letterhead.
WA is one of the few States with no income tax. They make
it up, elsewhere.
