Just to gripe some more. Bought a new battery, the larger 275 amp
battery and had to crank the hell out of it and it finally started.
Probably needs carbs cleaned or rebuilt after 10 years. Also when
cranking even with a new battery someone's while cranking the
starter sort of bogs down and won't turn the engine, j have to hit
the key several times and it will start cranking over again. It had
done this almost since new. I thought it might Have been related to
valve clearance and compression too high but I have adjusted the
valves in
The past and it still does it.
