What will you store in the shed?
I always end up with an oily mess under things like the snowblower and rototiller.

IF you insist upon painting, my suggestion is to put down some plywood on top of the concrete and paint the plywood.

with acid and a burlap bag  (tater sack)  Normally it is done when the
concrete is set but not hard.  At that time you wash away the top of the
concrete to expose the aggregate.

If you use a washed river rock or pea gravel for aggregate, it can be very
attractive.
