You must live in a bad area. My car sits for weeks at a time with nothing ever taken. I left my '83 240D once in Boston-Logan airport with the keys in the ignition, radio on for a week. When I got home it barely cranked over but fired right up for the ride home. I loved that car, it was so ratty I never worried about leaving it anywhere. My Jetta is pretty much at that level now although I did some cosmetic rust repair yesterday... -Curt
