Best if done under load, not just go fast. Climb hills, haul a few fat
pals up a hill, or fill the trunk with bags of sand or bark for the
garden and go up hills.

leave the shifter in S, and go as fast as the injection pump will let

there's a built-in fuel cutoff at the max engine speed, so don't be
afraid.
2-3 miles at a time in this manner should do the job.

List,
I have a question on the "Italian tune-up". Not wanting to get a
speeding
ticket from our local law enforcement, would it damage the tranny to
keep it
in a lower gear? Keep a steady rpm load in a lower gear for a set
amount
of time or distance? I enjoy high speed driving, but not at the
expense of
my driving privilege. Comments please.
