I just changed it - it's a royal PITA. I ended up taking off the topradiator hose, loosening the hard plastic vacuum line running from the brakebooster and moving it, and it was STILL a bitch to get the old filter out. Diesel spilled everywhere, it was a wreck. Did I mention that it's 13 F outside? I actually cried when the blood returned to my hands. Are there any listers out there near Columbus who would let me use theirgarage for mild work? I'm talking oil change here and maybe rear diff. I'mdying here.
