Our 17 year-old Sears Kenmore dryer has finally broken down. It makes a
terrible grinding noise during operation. It used to make a squeak squeak
for a few minutes when first started, and someone offered that it might be
a simple "carrier bearing" or something relatively easy or cheap.
Obviously I've let this go too long, now it's time to get this dryer
repaired and back in operation.
