What about Boge/Sachs? I bought a set of 4 for the W116 but never put them on. Had useless Sears shocks on it when I bought it, one of the oilless variety. That reminds me of something odd. I've bought 3 cars in my life with a totally dead shock on them. In all 3 cases (MBZ, FWD Ford, FWD Chrysler, the latter two being struts) the dead one that let its tire dribble like a basketball was the right rear.
