It's the quality of welder that will ensure your great grandchildren will have a welder that works..
I have one that was my dads from a little later of that era.. still works like is was designed to .. In fact.. out welds all the newer welders I own or have used.. the arc stability is much better, and duty cycle capacity far better.. All it needs is electricity and it's ready to work... Looks like it's been well cared for, from the pictures..
