The Lincolns that are engine driven are commonly know as Lincoln “pipeliners” due to their popularity in the pipeline fabrication business. The earlier ones were powered with Continental flat head six cylinder engines, and later models with the venerable Ford 300 cubic inch inline six. Also would qualify as the “240D” of the engine driven welders of that era. Bulletproof and very easy to maintain and service.
