I felt sort of bad about selling it, but I was young, stupid and greedy.  I 
knew the guy who bought it and he took very good care of the car and didn’t 
alter it in any way.  I seem to recall having some ownership in passing on the 
promise I made to Mom when I bought it.

And this was pre-Internet and cell phone days, too.

You would be amazed at the stuff you saw out in the boonies while driving to a 
remote microwave site or fiber vault.
