Great, i went out and messed with the cheepchineechit cables and
connectors and the internal controller and applied some tape here and
there and reinstalled the software and drivers and got the two devices
talking to each other, so now after I finish my chili I'll go hook up
the water cooler and far that mutha up!
You know its amazing how you can source cheap parts from here and there,
I guess I could get it all from ebay, and build something half decent
for not a lot of $$. The machine is actually OK, its just that these
details are sorta half overlooked. Kinda like buying a used car I
guess, except they are like used when new. These things are just
commodity bits thrown together now, for pretty cheap money.

Anybody know of a good laptop that will run win7-10 and doesn't
cost too much. Need to have one around for those things that need
a newer operating system. Just don't want to upgrade my
