Dieselvolk, In the last few weeks the '95 E300 has become a little harder to start, especially when cold. Another second or two of cranking is required before the engine will fire up. Once started, idle is smooth and even with no smoking.
The glow plugs were replaced within the last year, and shortly before that I replaced the injector nozzles with new Monark. I can easily test the glow plugs, and will do that this week. This model car has the infamous o-ring connections all over the injection pump and fuel filter holder. Those are all getting close to ten years old and 100k miles, so I think that those are the most suspect component(s). What else should I consider? ------------- Max Charleston SC _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
