I was wondering if there is some way to put springs under it and replace
other electronic systems with mechanical systems as needed. The
underlying body and drivetrain are robust, if you could eliminate the
electronics except engine management.
But yes, at some point you have to eat the loss and sell it as is or for
parts.

Time to strip off the valuable parts and sell them, send the hulk to
the crusher?
