SWMBO picked up this non-working machine last week. She sent me a picture,
looked like a plastic version, which I wasn't to thrilled about. I was with
Floyd at the time, he said "Get it!" so I passed that advice back to SWMBO.
Tonight I finally had time to look at it. I was wrong, only the top cover and
a side cover are plastic, the frame is steel. Heavy! It's also in a nice case.

The works were seized from sitting, so I applied penetrating oil and gently put
pressure in the right places and over about an hour I worked it free.

Works like a champ now. Model #247, I'll have to see what info I can find on Al
Gore's internet. This is a very basic model, nothing fancy, uses belts for the
motor and the hook.
